This Coffee Stall In Quiapo Sells More Than 15 Kinds Of Coffee Beans
It's been around since 1945.
A lot of people have been staying at home since the pandemic started and some have spruced up their WFH (work from home) setup or have set up their own coffee nook. A coffee nook or a coffee station varies depending on the person: some like to keep it simple while others like to have options when it comes to the brewing method, coffee beans, milk, and add-ons.
If you're looking to experiment and try different coffee beans, Kape Kabuhayan (Cafe Kabuhayan) is a hidden gem in Quinta Market & Fish Port, Quiapo that has more than 15 kinds of coffee beans displayed in front of their humble stall.
Kape Kabuhayan has a myriad of coffee beans to choose from: Arabica (P460/kilo) which is their best seller, Robusta (P360/kilo), Exelsa (P380/kilo), Liberica (P420/kilo), Sagada (P480/kilo), Batangas (P360/kilo), Kalinga (P360/kilo), Benguet (P360/kilo), Italian Espresso (P460/kilo), Mocha (P460/kilo), Macadamia (P460/kilo), Bailey's Irish Cream (P460/kilo), Butterscotch (P460/kilo), French Toast (P380/kilo), Vanilla (P460/kilo), Caramel (P460/kilo), and Hazelnut-flavored (P460/kilo) coffee beans.

According to Sofia Tatel who was able to talk to Chester Dela Paz, the current owner of Kape Kabuhayan who inherited the business from his parents, the coffee grinder used is already 76 years old which is exactly the same age as when the store was founded in 1945.
Kape Kabuhayan is located at Stall B-17 Quinta Market, Quiapo, Manila and is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
