These K-BBQ Spots Are Selling Extra Kimchi At A Discount
You can get one kilogram of kimchi for just P200!

The National Capital Region reentered modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) on August 4, which brought about some changes to daily life in the Metro such as limitations on public transport and a ban on dine-in services in restaurants. As the change in policy was sudden, local businesses have had to adjust quickly. The Happyfoods Group of Restaurants, the team behind Korean barbecue spots Sibyullee, Soban, and Sariwon, are just one company affected by the re-appointed MECQ. To deal with the sudden ban on dine-in services, Happyfoods' restaurants are putting their surplus kimchi available for sale at discounted prices!
You can shop one kilogram of Happyfoods' homemade kimchi for just P200, nearly half off from the original P380. If you've ever eaten at Sibyullee, Soban, and Sariwon and enjoyed the fresh kimchi that comes as a side dish with their grilled Korean meats, then you already have an idea of how this kimchi will taste. Plus, this is a great way to help out some local businesses amidst the pandemic and prevent unnecessary food waste. The sale runs until supplies last, so don't miss it!
You can eat the kimchi at home for snacking on its own or use it to make Korean or Korean-inspired dishes like kimchi fried rice or kimchi spaghetti. Or why not have the kimchi as a side dish with your usual fried or meat-based ulam just to give you the feeling that you're dining at your fave K-BBQ spot?
You can order the Happyfoods Group of Restaurants' fresh kimchi through their website. You can pay through credit Card, PayMaya, GCash and bank transfer. They accept same-day delivery orders until 4 p.m. each day.
