Ruby Chocolate Is The Star Of Krispy Kreme's Valentine's Day Doughnuts And Drink
Ruby Chocolate comes in a gorgeous pinkish-mauve color.
Krispy Kreme is celebrating the month of love with three new chocolatey doughnuts and an equally chocolatey drink that highlights the trendy, relatively new ruby chocolate. This pinkish-mauve chocolate has a milky, sweet, and fruity flavor profile and if you didn't know, it is considered to be the "fourth chocolate," next to dark, milk, and white chocolate.
Krispy Kreme used the ruby chocolate and made three heart-shaped doughnuts. There's the Ruby Dark Choco (P55/piece) which is filled with a ruby chocolate filling, half dipped in dark chocolate, drizzled with ruby chocolate sauce, and topped with edible flowers and chunks of ruby chocolate, while the Ruby White Choco (P55/piece) is filled with ruby chocolate, then half dipped in white chocolate, drizzled with ruby chocolate sauce, and sprinkled with white chocolate crisp pearls.
If you want an added layer of crunch and nutty flavors, there's the Ruby Pistachio (P55) that's stuffed with a crunchy pistachio Kreme filling, half dipped in ruby chocolate, drizzled with dark chocolate, and sprinkled with chopped pistachios.
Krispy Kreme is selling these doughnuts in different boxed sets. The Box of 3 Sampler costs P140, Box of 3 Premium Assorted costs P165, Box of 6 Mixed (three Original Glazed and three assorted) costs P245, Box of 6 Premium Assorted costs P295, Mixed Dozen costs P425, Dozen Regular or Premium Assorted costs P495, Mixed Double Dozen costs P725, and Double Dozen costs P795.
For the complete ruby chocolate experience, you can pair these doughnuts with Krispy Kreme's new Ruby Chocolate Chiller (P145/12oz and P165/16oz). This is an iced ruby chocolate-based chiller, mixed with wild berry syrup, and topped with whipped cream and heart-shaped sprinkles.
Krispy Kreme's Valentine's Day doughnuts and chiller are available for dine-in, take out, drive-thru, and delivery until February 14, 2021 only. Prices vary if you buy it via delivery.
