Baler Favorite Kusina Luntian Is Now in Quezon City

Look for the 'G' sign!

Aside from surfing, one of the fun things to do in Baler is to look for new, hidden eateries to try. One of these great finds is Kusina Luntian, a simple nipa restaurant where you can feast on Filipino staples like liempo and adobo after a tiring day at the beach. The laidback vibe and honest-to-goodness food they offer are not as common in the busy Metro, so we're happy to report that this Baler favorite now has an outpost in Quezon City called Gubat QC.

They're hard-to-find but worth the hunt!

Be sure to have the Wapang Wapang na Liempo

Gubat QC maintains its hidden-gem appeal: Look for a small letter 'G' along C.P. Garcia Avenue, in the Diliman Bonsai Society. According to their Facebook page, Gubat QC will still be serving a slightly altered version of Kusina Luntian's menu of Filipino dishes like Wapang Wapang na Liempo, and their signature pako salad. Looks like you have a new escape in the city!
