Who hasn’t dreamed of dining under the stars in the open streets of Italy or France? It’s a romantic prospect—one that you might not think is possible in this side of the world. But we recently got wind of a one-of-a-kind spot that might also offer a similar experience, right in our shores: Say hello to La Cathedral Cafe in Intramuros.

La Cathedral Cafe is located right behind the Manila Cathedral, giving you a stunning view of the historical monument when you dine at their roof deck. It’s decorated with capiz lanterns and touches of greenery, which make for an idyllic ambiance especially at night. Be sure to whip out your cameras! It’s the perfect setting for a date with your special someone or a casual get-together with your best buds.

As far as food goes, La Cathedral Cafe serves familiar favorites, with starters like the Beef Nachos (P255), pasta dishes like the Chicken Alfredo (P245/solo, P575/sharing), meaty mains like the Beef Mechado (P345/solo, P710/sharing) and more.
