On March 12, 2020, President Rodrigo Duterte officially announced that the National Capital Region will be placed under “community quarantine” for 30 days from March 15 to April 14, 2020. This is an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19. The Philippines has also been declared under Code Red Sublevel 2.
In light of the announcement, Landers Superstore will be giving discounts on some grocery essentials including fresh milk (Asturiana Milk is now priced at P59.75 from P71.75). Discounts on cleaning products and disinfectants will also be available starting March 13, Friday. There are also some items that are included in their “buy one, take one” promo.
