Lindt Opened A Chocolate Museum à la Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

This museum has the highest free-standing chocolate fountain!

Have you ever dreamt of entering Willy Wonka's chocolate factory? Well, it's now possible because Lindt has recently opened the "Home of Chocolate," a chocolate museum in Switzerland that takes inspiration from Roald Dahl's classic children's novel "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".

The Home of Chocolate houses the highest free-standing chocolate fountain that measures over nine meters high. The chocolate fountain has 1,500 kilograms of melted chocolate flowing from a huge whisk covering a giant Lindor ball.

Inside the museum, visitors can learn the interesting origins of Lindt, how they make their iconic chocolate, and find out where their delectable chocolate is sourced from. Visitors can also check out the "Swiss Pioneers" room, which gives a historical background about how Switzerland became the "capital of chocolate."

But for those who want something more in-depth and hands-on, the Home of Chocolate also offers chocolate courses in the "Chocolateria" room. You can learn how to make your own chocolate, pralines, and truffles through a Lindt Master Chocolatier.
