LIST: The Different Holiday Drinks From Your Favorite Cafés And Milk Tea Shops
In the span of the Philippines' four-month-long holiday season, there are many coffee shops, milk tea shops, fast food joints, and other food and beverage establishments that have launched, and continue to launch holiday-special drinks.
Here are the different holiday-special drinks you can try this Christmas season:
Starbucks always serves their signature Peppermint Mocha and the Toffee Nut Crunch Latte during the holidays (a.k.a. sticker-collecting season!). But for this year, Starbucks' new drink is the Red Velvet Oatmilk Latte which is available as hot, iced, or blended.
Starbucks' new Red Velvet Oatmilk Latte uses espresso, steamed oatmilk, and a red velvet-flavored sauce, topped with whipped cream and red biscuits.
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's featured holiday drink is the Chocolate Banana Caramel Ice Blended. It's made with icy decadent dark chocolate topped with a caramel drizzle and banana caramel cubes. This cool and comforting drink has just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess and is definitely a holiday treat in a cup!
Tim Hortons has always had a Frozen Black Forest beverage during the holidays, but this year's a little different because joining the Christmas staple is the new Iced Peppermint Chocolate. The new drink is inspired by the famous mint-chocolate combination by blending the sweetness of a premium chocolate drink with a touch of mintiness from the peppermint snowcap.
Alongside a new sandwich and two desserts, McDonald's launched a Speculoos McFlurry Frappe for the holidays. If you love your coffee sweet, milky, creamy, and with a bit of crunch, this is the drink for you!
Krispy Kreme has launched new Christmas-special doughnuts plus a new drink: the White Chocolate Chocolate Chiller. The latter is part of Krispy Kreme's Chiller selection. This ice-blended treat has a Kreme base, a white chocolate sauce, and is topped with whipped cream and holiday sprinkles.
Serenitea collaborates with Summit Sparkling Water for their Christmas-special drinks. There's the Sparkling Mermaid which combines butterfly pea, green grape, and sparkling water; the Holiday Blush which is similar to the Sparkling Mermaid but switches the green grape for grapefruit. Then there's also the Evergreen which is a refreshing concoction made with cucumber, mint, salt, and sparkling water.
Yi Fang is giving off a tropical Christmas vibe with their new Peach series for the holidays. In this series, there are three drinks, which are the Peach Green Tea Latte which mixes premium green tea, milk, and white peaches; the Peach Banana Green Tea which uses bananas, white peaches, and green tea; and Peach Fruit Tea which uses white peaches and brewed tea.
