LIST: Where To Order Ube Champorado
Ube-fied champorado for the rainy weather? Yes, please!
Champorado is one dish that we often crave when it's cold and raining. There's nothing as comforting as a bowl of chocolate rice porridge, topped with powdered milk (evaporated milk or condensed milk), and sometimes, topped with dried fish.
While chocolate champorado will never go out of style, this porridge also comes in an ube flavor too!
Here's where you can buy ube champorado:
Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo and Ryan Agoncillo's adobo restaurant also offers a unique take on champorado called the "Yin Yang" champorado: two champorado flavors in one tub, just like the Yin Yang symbol.
One of the flavors they offer is the Ube Mais (P440/tub) which has ube halaya champorado (with real ube halaya) and burnt pastillas toppings on one side. Its other half is the mais champorado which has langka and is topped with cereal and cheese toppings.
Angrydobo's Ube Mais Champorado is available for delivery daily, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can order through Lazada: Angrydobo Grocer, GrabFood, Foodpanda, or through their hotlines: (0968) 619-4971 (Taft) and (0968) 619-4972 (Alabang).
Cha Cha's, Friends & Family, and Providore
If we're talking about the "OG" ube champorado, Cha Cha's in Boracay comes to mind. It is also now available at Friends & Family and Providore in Metro Manila because all three restaurants are under the Raintree Hospitality Group.
These restaurants serve Chef Kalel Chan's special Ube Champorado which is made with ube and white chocolate-flavored champorado topped with danggit and is served with milk.
You can order from Friends & Family and Providore via GrabFood, Foodpanda, and Pick.a.Roo.
If you happen to be traveling to the Boracay anytime soon, make sure to drop by the Cha Cha's located at Coast Boracay, Station 2 Beachfront, Boracay Island.
Indulge by Daisy Marie
Indulge by Daisy Marie serves really good chocolate champorado in a bucket called the Triple Chocolate Champorado. In September 2021, they added a new Ube Panna Cotta Champorado which looks like ube champorado heaven!
This bucket of ube champorado is made with real ube, topped with panna cotta, and edible flowers. Since this champorado has panna cotta, it is recommended to eat this chilled because it will melt when it's heated.
Indulge by Daisy Marie is located at Dangal Residences, Bacood, Sta. Mesa. To place an order, fill up Indulge by Daisy Marie's order form.
Manam is known to have classics and "twists" of Filipino food so it's no surprise that ube champorado is part of their menu. Manam's version of the ube champorado includes crispy kamote on top.
Manam is available for delivery via GrabFood and Foodpanda.
