You've probably heard of Lucban's famous longganisa. It's garlicky, has a reddish color, and you can find it all over the province! The red color of the Lucban longganisa comes from paminton or Spanish paprika that's added to the meat. It's also a bit salty and has herby flavors because oregano and garlic is also added to the filling. ¬†
Lucban longganisa is easy to find all over the province. On your next trip to Lucban in Quezon, make sure to buy some to take home or stop by any local restaurant to try out all the longganisa dishes they serve.
