Make These Cool Recipes To Energize You Today

It’s summer again. Are you starting to feel the humidity? When the days are hot and muggy, it becomes harder to shake off that sluggishness to stay productive—especially with all of us spending a lot more time at home to stay safe. MILO Crispy Smoothie

A nice, thick smoothie is one of the best ways to cool down. But did you know you can mix things up by playing with texture? Adding some NESTLÉ cornflakes or rice crispies on top will give it a delicious crunch—and if you want even more of it, you can skip the blender altogether and mix these ingredients together with shaved ice instead!

½ cup MILO

½ cup BEAR BRAND Powdered Milk Drink

½ cup water

1 cup crushed ice

sugar to taste

crushed NESTLÉ cornflakes or rice crispies

How to make MILO Crispy Smoothie:

1 Combine MILO, BEAR BRAND Powdered Milk Drink, water, and ice in a blender jar. Add sugar to taste. Process blender for a minute or until the mix is fully incorporated.

2 Pour in individual serving glasses and top with rice crispies or NESTLÉ cornflakes before serving.

½ cup MILO

¼ cup water

sugar to taste

2 cups crushed ice

½ cup cooked sago

How to make MILO Scramble:

1 Combine MILO and BEAR BRAND Powdered Milk Drink in a blender jar. Pour in water and ice. Add sugar to taste. Process mixture until fully incorporated.

2 Put one or two tablespoons of sago in each glass. Pour prepared choco scramble over sago and serve immediately.

MILO Cheese Drink

We know what you're thinking: MILO and cheese in one drink? You'd be surprised at how tasty this combination can be. Fans of richer flavors are definitely going to enjoy the tastes of chocolate, malt, and cream cheese. It's an instant favorite!

Yield: 2-3 servings

MILO Cheese Drink Ingredients:

1/3 cup cream cheese

½ cup MILO

1 cup NESTLÉ fresh milk

¼ cup sugar or to taste

2 cups crushed ice

How to make MILO Cheese Drink:

1 Process cream cheese, MILO, and fresh milk in a blender jar. Add sugar and blend again until everything is fully incorporated.

2 Transfer to individual glasses and add ice.

MILO Ice Candy

This time of year always has us thinking of summers’ past and how we spent them. There’s no reason you can’t bring a little of it back. If you grew up with ice candies, then you’re in for some good news—they’re easy to make and don’t require too many ingredients! Just pop them into the fridge, and voila: you have a huge batch of the summer treats perfect for kids and adults alike.

For a creamier option, you can use milk instead of water!

Yield: 15 servings

MILO Ice Candy Ingredients:

3/4 cup MILO

brown sugar to taste

1 cup hot water

2 cups cold water

How to make MILO Ice Candy:

1 In a large bowl, mix MILO powder, sugar, and hot water until all granules have dissolved. Pour and stir in cold water.

2 Using a funnel and 1/3 cup measuring cup, pour 1/3 cup of the MILO mixture into an ice candy bag. Remove the funnel and twist the top until sealed. Repeat with remaining mixture.

3 Store in the freezer overnight, or at least six hours, until completely solid. Serve frozen.

MILO Popsicles

Want to take that ice candy to another level? It’s possible if you have popsicle molds and a little imagination. You can add some milk to make these richer or crushed wafers to give it some crunch.

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients for MILO Popsicle:

1 cup whole milk

1/4 cup MILO (or to taste)

1/4 cup chocolate wafers, finely crushed

How to make MILO Popsicle:

1 Place milk and MILO in a pitcher and mix well. (You can add more MILO, if desired.)

2 Pour into popsicle molds and freeze overnight.

3 Unmold popsicles when ready to serve. Coat tops of each with crushed wafers.
