We Found A Version Of Sisig That's Baked With Heaps Of Cheese
You can order a whole tray for as low as P400!
We recently showed you where to get Cheesy Baked Kaldereta, a Pinoy take on popular cheesy food platters like sushi bake and shawarma bake. We found another local twist to these ubiquitous baked dishes, the time featuring a Kapampangan favorite: Feast your eyes on Mamers Kitchen's Sisig Bake!
As with classic sisig, this dish is composed of pig head meat seasoned with calamansi, onions, and chili peppers, but it's made extra special thanks to the generous sprinkling of cheese on top. It's then baked to ooey-gooey perfection and best served with rice. It even includes a sunny-side up egg in the center!
You can get a regular-sized pan for P400 and a large pan for P700. Better order a few rounds of beer to go with it! You can also enjoy it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with the whole fam.
