Marian Rivera Uses This Kitchen Appliance Every Day
She also shared with Yummy.ph how she feels about the trendy air fryer, too.
We all know Marian Rivera Gracia Dantes as an actress, wife to Dingdong Dantes, and a mother to her two children, Zia and Sixto. Marian has also taken on a new challenge as she takes on the role of Kreon in Tanghalang Ateneo's upcoming theater production of Oedipus Rex, which will be staged online.
In an interview with Summit Media journalists, Marian told Yummy.ph about her life as someone who loves to cook, especially for her husband and kids.
We asked Marian to share with us if there was one kitchen appliance she uses on a daily basis at home. You'd be surprised to know that the first thing she blurts out is not a rice cooker nor a coffeemaker.
She shares, "Because si Zia, every day, every day, 'yan ang hiling niya sa akin." Zia always requests her mom to cook pancakes for breakfast. The five-year-old doesn't add any pancake syrup to her pancakes, Marian shares that her daughter simply prefers dusting the pancakes with a bit of confectioner's sugar.
What Marian loves about the kitchen appliance is that it has three detachable grill plates that come in different shapes: a square shape for waffles, a ring shape for donuts, and a triangle for sandwiches. You can easily change grills to make breakfast more interesting.
Marian was surely full of surprises during the Summit Sandwich Sessions because she also shared with Yummy.ph that she has also used the trendy air fryer, the kitchen appliance everyone seems to either be thinking of buying or has already bought during the quarantine.
She said that she rarely uses the air fryer, adding "Alam mo yun, probinsyana ako eh. Gusto ko pa rin yung lutong kawali na may mantika." (You know, I grew up in the province. I still prefer cooking using a pan with oil)
*Marian Rivera Gracia Dantes is currently an endorser of Tough Mama kitchen appliances.
