Mary Grace Cafe Released Statement About Ensaymada Shortage
The cafe has released an official statement.
Have you recently tried to purchase Mary Grace's famous ensaymada and hot chocolate for merienda? You might have had a hard time getting your hands on the cafe's ensaymadas and there's a reason for that: Mary Grace is currently experiencing a supply issue on a number of their raw materials.
In an official statement of the cafe, it says, "Unfortunately, we're experiencing some global supply issues on a few materials, beyond our control."Â
Here's Mary Grace's official statement:
While we don't know for sure the specific ingredients that the café is having a hard time sourcing, the shortage may be linked to the Ukraine-Russia war and other countries banning food exports, which include wheat and oil.Â
