This Limited-Edition Sans Rival Cake From Mary Grace Is Here to Stay

There's something especially timeless about sans rival, the Filipino-favorite pastry with European roots. With layers of dacquoise, buttercream, and nuts, it entices with its rich flavor and contrast of crisp, creamy, and crunchy textures. While most versions employ cashews, this new version by Mary Grace Cafe-dubbed the Toasted Almond Sansrival (P595/mini, P1,595/whole)-highlights crunchy, buttery almonds. It was introduced in May as a limited-edition Mother's Day special, but it's back and has now been made a mainstay according to their Facebook page.
