WATCH: Noodle Nirvana at One of Binondo's Oldest Mami Houses

Delicious hot soup with springy noodles and tasty meat, noodle soups or mami are definitely bowls of comfort for Filipinos.

Masuki is a mami house built on tradition. Built in the 1930s, the popular noodle house on Benavidez Street stands as one of the oldest mami restaurants in Binondo serving customers with an original mami recipe that's been passed down through generations. The way they produce their mami also remains grounded on tradition, preferring to have people instead of machines make their noodles to achieve their signature firm and springy noodles that loyal customers keep coming back for.

Throughout the years, they've updated their menu to now also offer beef, wonton, chicken, and asado variations on their original mami recipe. Their menu remains simple proving that while food trends come and go, delicious hot bowls of comfort stand the test of time.
