
Christmas is never complete without bibingka and puto bumbong, two buttery rice cakes that are usually enjoyed during the holidays. Max’s Bibingka Cheesecake (starts at P289) is made with soft and fluffy vanilla chiffon, topped with a layer of a smooth and silky cheesecake, and then topped with slices of salted egg. The Puto Bumbong Cheesecake (starts at P289) on the other hand is made with glutinous rice flour with ube flavor, smooth and silky cheesecake, and topped with ube crumbs, coconut, and muscovado sugar.
