These Are All The New Desserts Now Available At Max's Restaurant
These are perfect for summer!
Max's Restaurant just launched three desserts that are perfect as we slowly feel the wrath of summer's heat. The new desserts include classic samalamig like the Knickerbocker and Ice Scramble, plus Ube Cheese Turon that's served with ice cream.
The Knickerbocker (P99) is Max's take on Zamboanga's famous dessert. If you aren't familiar with the Knickerbocker, it's like a fruitier version of halo-halo because of the fruity ingredients like watermelon and mango. Max's also adds buko strings, gulaman, milk, and tops it with chunks of their famous Caramel Bar and scoops of Selecta's strawberry ice cream.
Max's Ice Scramble (P79) sticks to the usual ingredients Pinoys have grown accustomed to since their childhood days of eating this summer street food. It's made with pink shaved ice, powdered skimmed milk, sugar, and made extra with sprinkles, mini marshmallows, and chocolate syrup on top. But if you're feeling adventurous, Max's is also offering an ube version of Ice Scramble for the same price.
The third dessert to complete this summer launch is the Ube-Cheese Turon (P169). This not-your-usual turon is stuffed with ube halaya and cheese, served with a scoop of Selecta's ube and cheese ice cream on the side. It's like a turon à la mode!
Max's Knickerbocker, Ice Scramble, and Ube-Cheese Turon are now available in all stores nationwide.
