McDonald's Most Beautiful Store Turns An Old Train Into A Dessert Kiosk

There are many reasons to go to Bacolod, Masskara Festival or not. For those who have never been or want to revisit the "Sugarbowl of the Philippines," here's another attraction you'll want to add to your itinerary: you'll find one of McDonald's most beautiful stores in Bacolod.

One of the highlights of this new Bacolod-based McDonald's store is the repurposed train that is now a Dessert Center. The train was previously used by the Bacolod-Murcia Milling Company as its main mode of transport to deliver sugarcanes during the early days of the sugar mill. Now it's found a new purpose in serving McDonald's sweet desserts, like the Hot Fudge, McFlurry, and Coke Float.

The second highlight of McDonald's Upper East is the Masskara installation, another unique feature that ties to the province's history and why it's called the "City of Smiles." This installation has a wall of giant smiling masks, all coated in vibrant colors to give it that festive vibe.

On top of all of that, McDonald's Upper East in Bacolod has a huge seating capacity of 300, a McCafé, a party area, a meeting room, and even a lactation area. There are also self-ordering kiosks, wireless charging facilities, communal tables, and power outlets located in the McCafe area.
