People line up for their bestselling Tonkotsu ramen bowls: Shio, Shoyu, or Tantanmen. For those who are curious enough to try a different kind of ramen, Mendokoro Ramenba also offers the Tsukemen, where the noodles are served separately from the broth, the Maze Soba, which is made with dry noodles served with a thick sauce on top, and the Hiyashi Ramen which is ramen that’s commonly loaded with vegetables and meat. Then, of course, it’s best paired with a serving of Gyoza.
If you love Mendokoro Ramenba or haven’t tried their ramen just yet, you may not know that they have do have off-menu items. Their Bonifacio Global City branch specifically has two branch-exclusives: Curry Tsukemen and the Tantan Maze Soba.
If you love the sweet umami of Japanese curry, you definitely need to try the Curry Tsukemen. This ramen gets its flavors by combining turmeric, cumin, coriander, ginger, and fresh or dried chilies. For those who love spicy food, the Tantan Maze Soba is more suited for you. This has five levels of spiciness.
