It’s True: Mendokoro Ramenba Has A New Ramen Flavor!

It's only available at their Makati branch.

If you're a ramen fan, you probably know or have heard of the long queues that lead up to Mendokoro Ramenba in Salcedo Village-it's a 23-seater restaurant that specializes in a limited selection of ramen, the most popular being the Shoyu or the Miso. A tidbit you should know about this specific branch is that it's rare for them to add a new item on the menu.

This is why it's a big deal, especially for patrons of the branch, that they're introducing a new limited-edition ramen called the Buta Kakuni Ramen.

According to their official Facebook post, this is a miso-based ramen made from green peppers and fresh chilies. The chashu is slow-simmered for several hours making it tender, which are then placed on top of a bed of tsukemen noodles.

There's a catch though. The Buta Kakuni Ramen is only available at the Salcedo Village branch and it's only going to be made in limited quantities on a daily basis. So you better plan ahead, and take a trip to Mendokoro Ramenba for this special bowl of ramen.
