For some, instant noodles are a staple in their grocery list. Since the pandemic and the quarantine happened, the grocery aisles with instant noodles are often empty or stores don’t have enough stock of your favorite brand and flavors. For fans of the Indonesian mie goreng, there’s an underrated instant noodle version you should know about: Wingsfood’s Mie Sedaap.
Where is Mie Sedaap From?
Mie Sedaap is an instant noodle brand from Malaysia. The Goreng Asli is the basic flavor that has that signature sweet and spicy mie goreng taste coating thinner, delicate noodles. It’s popular for having fried, crunchy onions (or also known as the kriuk-kriuk) you sprinkle on as toppings.
For those who have a tolerance for spicy food, Mie Sedaap also offers a spicy version with its Sambal Goreng flavor. These instant noodles use extra sambal sauce that gives it fire, plus it has a touch of lime to enhance its flavor.
Mie Sedaap instant noodles are available in select supermarkets such as Shopwise and South Supermarket. These are also available via Shopee for P70-P80/pack of five.
