Love CoCo Milk Tea? Do Not Miss This 3-Day Chill Camp!

See you there, CoCo fans!

It may come as a surprise for some that CoCo Fresh Tea And Juice has been in the Philippines for five years now. It was in late 2013 that they first opened their branch at Techno Plaza 2 in Eastwood, Quezon City. In the beginning, CoCo pushed for their fruit teas as the milk tea market was already saturated at that time. But because of their customers' word of mouth, their most popular milk tea paved its way to being one of the go-to milk tea shops despite its long queues.

In 2017, CoCo gained a cult following, mostly because of their best-seller, the Panda Milk Tea: milky black tea and a combination of white pearls (similar to taho sago!) and black pearls for its sinkers. The Panda Milk Tea was supposed to be a seasonal product, but it was eventually decided to be a staple on the menu because of how well-received it was. It's still CoCo's bestseller in the Philippines!

Fun fact: Taiwan first launched the Panda Milk Tea in 2015, with the Philippines following suit. You can no longer find the Panda Milk Tea option in Taiwan anymore.

In a span of five years, now they have more than 30 stores (and counting), most of which are established in Metro Manila and some in Cebu and Pampanga. They were recently awarded The Choice 2019's People's Choice Awardee for Favorite Milk Tea, too. To celebrate these milestones and celebrate CoCo fans, they are going to hold a three-day Chill Camp this September.

The CoCo Chill Camp is a CoCo fan event to be held on September 17 to September 19, 2019, at SM Megamall Fashion Hall. "We wanted to do something that's going to personally involve every CoCo lover out there. This is our way of sharing the joy of CoCo with them," says Larry Tan, the General Manage of CoCo Philippines.

In a Facebook post by CoCo, they will also be revealing their limited-edition shirts with cute CoCo and milk tea-themed designs.
