Milky Cheese Doughnuts: What Is It + Where You Can Buy It

Meet your new favorite merienda.

As much as we enjoyed keeping ourselves occupied this quarantine period by making our own doughnuts using a pancake mix or making doughnut holes with three ingredients, you may have missed another doughnut trend making rounds on your social media feeds. Meet the Milky Cheesy Doughnuts—yes, milky and cheesy doughnuts exist.

What are milky cheesy doughnuts?

The most common take on milky cheese doughnuts is like a love child of bicho-bicho and cheese bread. But what makes this different is that in its center, one will find melted cheese and the doughnut is coated in milk powder and powdered sugar instead of being rolled in granulated sugar.

These are a little messier to eat because of the milk powder and powdered sugar, but don’t let that take away the fun of enjoying these delectable doughnuts! Can you imagine this paired with coffee or milk tea? Yum!

Where can you buy these milky cheesy doughnuts? (Plus, how to order!)
