Kadiwa Market And Mobile Palengkes Open In QC
More avenues for people to get veggies and fruits from the farmers!
A total of 7 "mobile palengkes" and a Kadiwa market opened in Quezon City on March 26, Thursday. According to a report by ABS-CBN News, Department of Agriculture Secretary William Dar said this project is set to assist farmers sell their harvest.¬†
The Kadiwa market, located inside the Department of Agriculture Training Institute in Elliptical Road, Quezon City offers produce as low as P35/ kilo for tomatoes. They also sell seafood such as bangus (P175/ kilo) and tilapia (P125/ kilo). The Kadiwa market will be open on Thursdays and Fridays, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Kadiwa on Wheels is also set to go around Quezon City.
