You can get it delivered, too!

Mochi filled with bean paste is a timeless treat, but we've gotta commend whoever came up with the idea of filling it with ice cream-chewy rice cake plus cold and indulgent ice cream make for a surprising match made in heaven. Locally, one brand that offered the treat was Mochiko, a Mercato Centrale favorite that sold Mochi Ice Cream in flavors that ranged from strawberry and chocolate to green tea, cookie dough, and even red velvet. While they became inactive for a number of years, the good news is that they're back-and you can get their specialties delivered.

Guess who's back, back again!

Mochiko does not currently have a physical store, but they'll be doing deliveries to certain areas of Manila-you'll want to keep your eyes on their social media pages for announcements. Right now, they're taking orders for delivery to Makati on October 6 through the order form linked here. Slots are limited, so place your orders while you can!

Their lineup includes classic flavors like Strawberry, distinctly-Japanese flavors like Green Tea, and even more out-of-the-box flavors like Cookie Dough.
