This Unique Buko Pie From Laguna Has A Layer Of Leche Flan
There's a new buko pie in Laguna.
The buko pie, as good as the classic is, comes in different and unique versions that are just as delicious, too. Depending on where you are, you can find a frozen version from a museum in Tagaytay, a buko pie with yema from Bulacan, and an ube version from Pampanga. If you happen to be in Laguna, there's a unique buko pie from Norma's called the Buko de Leche.
Norma's specializes in making buko pie with a layer of silky leche flan inside. Norma's also offers other unique treats such as the Ube de Leche, Ube Pie, and the Buko Pie with Cheese. They had a Mango de Leche just recently but because of the rainy season, this item is no longer available. Hopefully next summer, when mangoes will be in season again, they will bring it back!
If you want to stick to safer options, you can always try Norma's Buko Pie and Egg Pie. According to their Facebook page, their buko pies are all homemade.
Norma's is located at Canlubang, Calamba, Laguna. You can contact them at (0938) 601-5092.
