A powerful personality with a true passion for creating delicious dishes in the kitchen, Chef Aspiras' newest cookbook called "Notes from My Kitchen" is the result of all those useful cooking tips she has shared over the years. It's a collection of her recipes with practical tips and tricks that she has passed on to her students.

What makes Chef Aspiras' cookbook a treasure to have is not just the useful cooking lessons and advice offered but also the hands-on experience you will feel as you read through each recipe. Her recipes are not your usual recipes because each one is made unique and more delicious with the tweaks she has made.

Recipes include the Beef with Sigarilas recipe that uses her Aromatic Seasoning Wine, the Baby Pusit Adobo with Atsuete Rice and Garlic Oil recipe with has a not-so-secret-ingredient to make it super delicious, and the Manille Dalandan Chicken and the San Miguel Beer Chicken, both of which add alcoholic drinks to make it delicious.

Another wonderful aspect about this cookbook is the fact that these recipes are a testament to a cook's ability to be creative in the kitchen. That's because some of these recipes were tweaked and sometimes created on the fly. Even during her cooking classes, she admits that she doesn't always share her recipes. She hands out blank sheets of paper so that her students can take their own notes as she teaches them to cook by cooking the recipe. These same teachings and lessons are what you get when you read through "Notes From My Kitchen".

The recipe pages of the cookbook "Notes From My Kitchen" also feature step-by-step photos.

These depict the step-by-step procedural pictures of how to cook the recipe so even without cook the dish itself, you can see how it's done and what it will turn out.

If you're curious how you can be a better cook through recipes that store a goldmine of useful and practical tips to cook a dish, this cookbook may hold the knowledge that you have been looking for.
