The latest addition to their menu is their Ebi and Soft Shell Crab Tempura Aburi Bake.
Ooma’s Ebi and Soft Shell Crab Tempura Aburi Bake starts with a layer of sushi rice that’s made more flavorful with a soy-dashi mixture and made heartier with ebi tempura, soft shell crab tempura, ebiko, pickled radish, tempura crumbs, and aonori (green seaweed). This sushi bake is finished off with the restaurant’s signature wasabi aioli, aligue mayonnaise, and tempura sauce to make it even more flavorful.
Ooma’s Ebi and Soft Shell Crab Tempura Aburi Bake comes with nori sheets because what’s sushi bake without it, right? For those new to the concept of sushi bake, the proper way to eat it is to scoop a spoonful of the sushi bake and wrap it around a sheet of nori before taking a bite.
