These Cakes Are Inspired By Classic Pinoy Biscuits Such As Otap And Barquiron
Papa Diddi's just came out with a dessert line!
Local brand Papa Diddi's is best known for their delectable, handcrafted ice cream, but did you know they recently started making delicious cakes under their latest dessert line Sweet Origins? Many of their ice cream flavors are inspired by classic Pinoy flavors like Tablea de Cagayan and Toasted Forbidden Rice, and it looks like their cake is following suit because they just released three new cakes with the same homegrown flair: Sweet Origins' new line of heritage-inspired cakes are made with beloved Pinoy biskwit, otap, barquiron, and salvaro!
You can choose between three cakes: First, the Old-Fashioned Choco Barquiron, which takes the famous Iloilo biscuit and melds its crunchy texture with a gooey chocolate center.

They've also got the Choco Salvaro Duo, a dark chocolate cake topped with Leyte's popular salvaro biscuits.
