This Tiny Glass House Café In Makati Brews Unique Coffee Beverages
They have unique beverages you won't see in most coffee shops.
The quarantine period has given us coffee fans a whole new list of coffee shops to visit and more unique coffee beverages to try. If you ever find yourself in the neighborhood of Makati City and you need a coffee fix, drop by Papakape.
Papakape is a small café founded on the phrase "papa-kape ako" ("I'll make you coffee" or "I'll serve you coffee"). The café looks like a tiny glass house and in the morning, it soaks up all the daylight and at night, it's illuminated by fluorescent lights.
The main reason why you should drop by Papakape is their unique drinks. Their signature coffee beverages combine coffee and tea with ginger!
They have ginger-infused coffee like the Iced Cocolatte (P120), a sweet and milky coffee made with coco milk, ginger, and topped with panucha toffee, then there's the Kape Gingerccino (P90), which is a ginger-infused coffee topped with coco froth and cinnamon. For the mocha drinkers, the Choco Mochaluya (P90) is made with homemade chocolate milk with ginger-infused coffee.
Do you love drinking salabat even if you're not feeling sick? Papakape has leveled up ginger tea like the Blue Ginger Salabat (P70), a ginger tea with blue pea flowers, lemon, and honey, and the Fruity Iced Salamat (P120) which is made with iced oolong-ginger tea with slices of passion fruit, apple, orange, and pineapple.
Ready to try some ginger-infused coffee? Papakape is located at 5641 Ampere Street, Palanan, Makati City. Papakape has limited outdoor seating and street parking is available.
