The Pasig City local government has set up several "mobile palengkes", to minimize the crowds at the Pasig Mega Market and other wet markets in the city.

As posted on Vico Sotto's official Facebook page, the launch of the mobile palengke aims to help lessen the number of people who go to the public market to buy necessities.

Through this initiative, the residents of Pasig can buy food, such as rice, meat, and vegetables, that are priced the same as the ones sold in the wet market but sold closer to the homes of Pasigueños. Likewise, the mobile palengke helps the market vendors because they can continue selling produce.

There will be five mobile palengkes to be dispatched to go around Pasig City. The schedule for each will be posted on Pasig City's Public Information Office's official Facebook page.
