This Resto Makes You Feel Like You're Dining Inside An Airplane
You can travel the world through their menu.
Do you miss traveling, too? Remember that familiar rush of going to the airport, lining up to check-in your luggage, and boarding the plane and getting all excited about exploring a new place? While you can book international and domestic flights right now, it's understandable if you don't want to risk it just yet. If you want to skip boarding an actual plane right now, the next best thing you can do is go to Passenger Seat, a restaurant in Marikina.
Passenger Seat has airplane-themed decor, from the seats that look like the cushioned seats on airplanes to the airport signages that say "Now Boarding." They even have wall decor that look like the window of the plane!
The resto offers a variety of dishes from different cuisines so you do actually travel in that sense, too. The dishes they serve are even named after destinations, like the boodle fight spread wittingly called Boodle Flights which come in different versions. There's the Manila boodle fight (P585), which has all kinds of meat; Palawan (P599), which has all kinds of seafood; and the Pilipinas (P1,499) which is a mix of both.
They even have a bulalo dish called Tagaytay (P350) and a sinigang dish called Zambales Sinigang sa Miso (P235). You can also find international fare: there's a Brussels (P65) burger, Kyoto (P159) chicken wings, California (P125) nachos, and France (P155), a tomato-based pasta with seafood.
For dessert, there's the Belgium Sizzling Brownies, which is a large brownie, swimming in melted chocolate, topped with ice cream, and served on a sizzling plate.
Ready to dig in? Passenger Seat is located at Ground Floor, Riverbanks Mall, A. Bonifacio Avenue, Barangka, Marikina City.
