Here's Where To Get Doughnuts Inspired By Maja Blanca + Other Pinoy Flavors
Check out Poison Coffee's new doughnuts!

Doughnuts are a tried-and-true, beloved-for-centuries dessert that have been around since the early 1800s. They have a special place in Filipinos' hearts (and stomachs) thanks to OG favorites like Dunkin's Choco Butternut and Mister Donut's Classic Twist. You can find them in shopping malls, artisanal cafes, and even in corner bakeries in small neighborhoods. More recently, the pastry has been making waves thanks to a variation known as the milky cheese doughnut, which is only further proof that the ubiquitous treat has cemented a place for itself in the hearts of Pinoys everywhere. If you love pastries customized to fit our local palate, you'll want to try Poison Coffee's new doughnuts in Filipino-inspired flavors!
Nestled in food hub Karrivin Plaza along Chino Roces Avenue, Poison is a popular hang-out spot not just for their high-quality coffee and chill ambience, but for their doughnuts, which come in unique flavors like Garam Masala, Blueberry Glaze, and Salted Dark Chocolate among others. Now you can try their popular take on the pastry in distinctly local flavors, which they released in celebration of Buwan Ng Wika. You can choose between three unique flavors: First is the Maja Blanca doughnut, inspired by everyone's favorite Christmas kakanin. It features coconut pudding with corn and langka along with a latik crumble on top.

They also have the Mangga't Suman doughnut with mango coconut mousse and latik as well as a generous sprinkling of rice crisps on top for crunch.

Lastly, for fans of coconut, try the Macapuno doughnut, which has a macapuno custard filling and a buttery crumble over top.

Poison Coffee & Doughnuts is located at G/F, Building C, Karrivin Plaza, Chino Roces Avenue Extension, Makati City. You can get their doughnuts for delivery by filling out the order form featured on their Facebook page.
