Polland Hopia Issues Apology For The Quality Of Their New Product

In the age of cancellation culture, it only takes one negative review after another to give an establishment a bad rep. And trust us, if you're part of any online forum focusing on food recommendations and reviews, people can be ruthless.

This is why Jeff Tin of Polland Hopia posted an apology before the onslaught of bad reviews about their new product, the Chewy Rolls, drives their customers to lose their faith in their products. The product in question are chocolate-filled tikoy rolls dusted with what looks like cocoa powder.

The reason for Polland Hopia's apology was that the delivery process, specifically the ones ordered from their official Shopee and TikTok accounts, affected the quality of the Chewy Rolls. He said that by the time the product arrives at the buyer's doorstep, it's no longer in its best form.

Tin's statement was posted on the Facebook group Tipid Hacks Philippines. Here's a screenshot of what was said:

As of writing, Polland Hopia's Chewy Rolls are no longer available on both Shopee and TikTok, and even on their official website. We'll hope "version 2.0" comes soon!
