This Ultra-Soft Doughnut Has A Sweet, Milky Caramel Filling

If you need to take a break from all the ube-flavoredÂ desserts in town, you can always go back to classic and no-fail flavors like sweet caramel. A great way to get back into the world of this burnt sugary world is to try Pufft's Caramel Cream doughnut with a honeycomb topping.
Meg Hornsby-Bates, a UK-trained chef, did a huge "quarantine pivot" by closing down her Pufft Marshmallows businesses and turned it into a doughnutÂ shop called Pufft. This new bakeshop takes pride in its plump bombolone: an Italian filled-doughnut that comes from the word "bomba." The explosion of the doughnut's filling that leaves a sweet, sticky mess is part of the experience.
Pufft offers different flavors, but one that stands out is the Caramel Cream with honeycomb. This plump doughnut is generously filled with a milky caramel filling and topped with a chunk of crunchy honeycomb, which you can nibble on in between doughnut bites. The honeycomb adds a burnt-but-sweet taste to the otherwise mellowed sweet notes of the caramel cream.
When you getÂ Pufft's sampler box (P620), you can get a piece of the Caramel Cream with honeycomb and their other doughnuts: Ube (with meringue toppings), Lemon Curd (with peanut brittle toppings), Milk Chocolate, Vanilla Cream, and Strawberry Jam.
