Wonder no more! We found it for you

It’s autumn in the Western world again and thus, all us Filipinos will be hearing all about pumpkin spice this and pumpkin spice that. Alas! The Pumpkin Pie Spice Latte isn’t available at our local Starbucks, so what’s a Pinoy millennial gotta do?

You have to make your own!

It’s time to take matters into your own hands. You can do it! Thankfully, all the ingredients are readily available. Really. Even premade pumpkin pie spice! In fact, we found a bottle of this fragrant, complex yet cozy, bottle of warmth at a local supermarket!

Where To Get Pumpkin Pie Spice?

For P115, you get Spice Time’s Pumpkin Spice. You can find it at the spice section of Unimart, Greenhills. They also offer other spices like Italian seasoning and whole nutmeg!

What to do with Pumpkin Pie Spice?

How about a pumpkin spice latte you can make at home? Admittedly, it’ll take a tiny bit of effort but it’s worth it to satisfy your burning curiosity for a taste of this special order!

Here's How to Make Pumpkin Spice Latte

It's quite doable at home. Puree roasted (or steamed!) kalabasa (aka pumpkin or squash) chunks in a blender then store, refrigerated, until needed. It's something you can use for a lineup of pumpkin spice recipes! Add two tablespoons of the autumn-hued puree to your coffee latte blend, then add sugar and the pumpkin pie spice to taste before blending into a frothy, creamy mix. Top with whipped cream for the ‘gram. But why bother? Keep it simple! Just add the spice mix to your coffee, and have it as is since it already makes such a fragrant, delicious difference!
