A New BTS-Themed Cafe In Quezon City Has Croissant Waffle Like J-Hope’s

Four floors of ARMY haven!

PH ARMYs, the beloved seven-member group isn’t the only comeback you’ll look forward to in the coming weeks. Because finally, after 213472 years (or really, just almost two), the BTS-themed Purple 7 café will be reopening on May 28. And when we say that it’s going to be bigger, we’re talking there’s-an-elevator kind of big. Yes, Permission to Scream, granted.

Originally opened for dine-in last December 2020 on the second floor of the NBC Square in Congressional Avenue, Purple 7’s new ‘mi casa’ (as they like to call it) is now at One Cedar Wood Place, Tomas Morato Avenue, Quezon City.

What to expect at the new Purple 7 Café

According to their little sneak peek via their Facebook page, the cafe has four floors. There’s the danger zone, a.k.a the budol corner, HopeBox Ph (a one-stop-shop for all things Korean merchandise) on the first floor. One floor up is the mezzanine. On the third and fourth floor are the main dining area and lounge, respectively.

From its purple (borahae!), pink, and white pastel interiors to its Instagrammable-crannies left and right (there’s even a Love Yourself photocard wall, neon signs, and lots of BTS art murals) plus the merchandise, the revamped Purple 7 Cafe is poised to be every ARMYs must-visit in the metro.

The doors to Purple 7 Café’s new location will open soon.

When it comes to its food (‘cause yes, we need to order) the price range at its first location was from around P130 to P160 for drinks. Think P120 for fruit teas such as Wild Berries, Lemon & Ginger, Strawberry & Mango. For something to munch on, also available were Chocolate Chip Cookies at P190, Chocolate Walnut Cookies at P220, and/or tin and cake jars such as Red Velvet Cheesecake to name a few.

There were also Pesto and Chicken Alfredo pasta priced at P210 and P220, respectively. They also had Hobi-approved croissant waffles (croffles) in different flavors like Nutella, Lotus Biscoff, Strawberry, and Blueberry. This references an episode of BTS In The SOOP 2 wherein J-Hope (Hobi) made croissant waffles for their snack.

We can’t confirm yet but we have our fingers crossed that there will be new flavors of drinks and even more food at this much larger branch.

This fresh spot can be the perfect place to host cup sleeve events or really, just the place to have a date (or the ultimate meetup) with your ARMY friends (online or IRL) and BTS photocards and bop along to BTS tunes until Zero O’Clock and even casually talk about your biases with the ARMYs at the table next to yours.

It is set to be open for walk-ins and dine-ins for fully-vaccinated adults from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Note that it could also be open on Mondays when special BTS-related events fall on that day.

Guests will be allowed inside the venue for up to two hours. Priority will be given to reserved guests on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so to avoid any queues, reserve a slot through a reservation form as early as now.

When it comes to parking, Purple 7 Café responded to an Instagram user that there are four to six parking slots available.

Purple 7 Café’s new location is at One Cedar Wood Place, Tomas Morato Avenue, Quezon City. For more information, check out Purple 7 Cafe’s Facebook page.
