Mark Your Calendar: The Get-All-You-Can Fruits And Vegetables Is Back
If you're exhausted from all the inflation news every day, know that you are not alone as we (and our wallets) feel the day-to-day struggles, too. So, if you're looking to score affordable fresh fruits and vegetables from our local farmers-a win-win situation for both producer to consumer,-Rural Rising is bringing back their Box-All-You-Can on January 28-29, 2023 at Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig City.
Rural Rising's Box-All-You-Can started last year in 2022 with the aim to help farmers in Luzon. Instead of throwing away unsold produce, Rural Rising rescues their harvests and makes it accessible to mall-goers through a Box-All-You Can event. Each registered participant gets 10 minutes to fill their box to the brim with all the fresh produce they like from the selection.
For Rural Rising's Box-All-You-Can at Ayala Malls Feliz, you can expect the following vegetables:
- Zucchini
- Watermelon
- Yakon
- Cabbages
- Wombok (napa cabbage or Chinese cabbage)
- Carrots
- Tomatoes
- Orange Kamote
- Pokopok Bananas (from Sagada, Mountain Province)
- Señorita Bananas
- Saba Bananas
- Broccoli
- White Radish (daikon or labanos)
- Lemons
- Corn (three kinds)
- Japanese cucumbers
- Kalabasa
- Guyabano (soursop)Â
- Pineapples
- Green Ice Lettuce
- Beets
According to their Facebook post, aside from the mentioned produce, there will be more in store. So it's best to follow Rural Rising on Facebook for Box-All-You-Can announcements and their other rescue missions.
