San Miguel Corporation Reassures Public "There Is Enough Food For Everyone"

The San Miguel Corporation (SMC), one of the largest companies in the Philippines, wants to reassure Filipinos that there is enough food for everyone. SMC's food manufacturing facilities will continue its everyday operations that can produce the following per day:
Fresh meats: 1.96 million kilograms of poultry, beef, and pork.Â
Processed meats: 524,000 kilograms of canned meat, nuggets, and hotdogs
Flour and baked goods: 2.11 million kilograms of flour, biscuits, pandesal, and nutribun.Â

SMC's food group holds multiple brands, some of which are Purefoods' processed meats, Monterey's poultry and fresh meats, La Pacita's biscuits, Magnolia's dairy products, San Miguel Mills' flour, and San Mig Super Coffee.
As per the exemptions of the enhanced community quarantine's guidelines, food and medicine manufacturers can continue its operations and production. SMC adds, "Many other companies also continue to make food, that is why we are confident that together, we can overcome our present challenges."
