This Classic Puto Bumbong Ice Cream Is Finally Back For Christmas!
And a bibingka a la mode is new on the menu, too!
When it comes to Christmas, there is a lot of food that we indulge in because Christmas isn't Christmas without it. There are the Noche Buena-musts like the queso de bola and the buko salad and the simbang gabi staple such as the puto bumbong. Sebastian's Ice Cream's Christmas Collection 2019 is recreating these festive flavors into chilly sundae desserts!
A returning favorite amongst Sebastian's Ice Cream's patrons is the Puto Bumbong Kakanin Ice Cream! This ice cream is made with sticky rice, muscovado, margarine, and topped with the quintessential puto bumbong toppings such as the grated niyog and muscovado sugar. The Queso de Bola Ice Cream, another fan favorite, also returns on the menu for the holidays. This ice cream is made with rich cheese and then filled with grated Marca de Pina Queso de Bola.
A new flavor under this collection is the Buko Salad Espesyal. This well-loved Filipino dessert is turned into ice cream with the combination of coconut ice cream loaded with bits of kaong, nata de coco, fruit cocktail, buko strings, and cheese.
If these flavors aren't festive enough for you, Sebastian's Ice Cream is also presenting a special Bibingka Ala Mode Bonsai Sundae. You can upgrade your order into a bibingka ala mode for P60 and they'll serve your ice cream on housemade bibingka, garnished with cheese, salted egg chunks, muscovado sugar, grated niyog, and-wait for it-muscovado whipped cream!
