You Can Find Strawberry Sinigang At This QC Restaurant
Yes, it has strawberry slices.

They say you shouldn't mess with a classic and if you are a sinigang purist, you may balk at the mere mention of putting fruits such as strawberries in sinigang. We say, don't knock until you've tried it: this fruity twist on a well-loved Filipino dish is actually pretty delicious.
Sinigang is a popular Filipino soup dish, with lightly boiled meat (or seafood) and vegetables, and has a distinct sour broth. There's more than one way to serve sinigang and one may use a different kind of souring agent aside from tamarind (sampalok).
Empacho on Tomas Morato, Quezon City serves a different kind of sinigang: the Sinigang na Lechon with Strawberry (P490, good for 3-4 people) is for anyone who likes the soupy-sour dish but may be looking for something different.
This version has smoked lechon belly (you can also taste the tanglad flavors in each bite!) and vegetables, swimming in a thick sour broth thickened with gabi. An added surprise: slices of sweet-sour strawberries which add the subtlest hint of sweet flavors. If you're game for exciting twists to your usual Pinoy favorites, this should be on your list of things to try.
