Enjoy Good Food + Nature At This Newly Opened Restaurant In Nueva Ecija
It has a view of a lake!

After being quarantined for so long, it's normal to feel cabin fever and get itchy feet (to travel). Since the pandemic began, there have been numerous restaurants and cafés opening in and around Metro Manila that offers an al fresco dining set up, paired with a relaxing view.Â

If you're looking for a place to relax for the weekend that's not as crowded as the likes of Tagaytay, Rizal, La Union, or Baguio, you can go on a three-hour ride (from Metro Manila) to Nueva Ecija and check out Sirmata Farm and Nature Park.

Sirmata Farm and Nature Park has a restaurant called Kà yo. The establishment itself looks like a glasshouse in the middle of a forest. The restaurant has a combination of floor-to-ceiling glass windows and dark wood, the bigger al fresco dining area just beside it shaded by trees, overlooking a lake.

Sirmata Farm Nature Park: Kayo Menu
KÃ yo has a multi-cuisine menu that includes Filipino dishes like Lechon Kawali Kare-Kare (P480, good for 3-4) and a brunch platter called Breakfast for Champions (P580) that includes Angus beef tapa, Cabanatuan longganisa, daing na bangus, eggs, garlic rice, and atchara.
If you're not in the mood for Filipino food, the menu also includes Beef Bulgogi (P240), Miso Glazed Salmon (P640, good for 3-4), and a Western Brunch Spread (P520) that includes pancakes, waffles, eggs, Hungarian sausage, and fresh fruits that are in season.
