Just in case you missed it, Starbucks released its Cherry Blossom collection, featuring Sakura-inspired beverages which include the Pink Peach Blossom Cream Frappuccino, Chocolate Black Tea Peach Blossom Cream, Yuzu Cold Brew, and Coconut Milk Cold Brew, plus it also included gorgeous pink hued-tumblers and mugs.
Alongside these beverages and merchandise are the new seasonal pastries on the menu. There’s the Banana Creme Pie Doughnut, Almond Matcha Croissant, Mango Oat Cookie, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Ham & Cheese Sticks, and our favorite: the Carrot Cheesecake.Â

What you need to know
Starbucks’ new Carrot Cheesecake uses its signature smooth and velvety New York Cheesecake, but it uses carrot cake as a base instead of the usual graham cracker base. The Carrot Cheesecake itself has balls of carrot cake dough merged with the cheesecake, while the top is slathered with sweet cream cheese frosting and the top’s edges are sprinkled with walnuts.
What we love about it
Starbucks’ New York Cheesecake is already a winner in our book, but when it’s merged with another classic like a carrot cake? You get the best of both worlds. You still get the velvety, melt-in-your-mouth cheesecake, but with the added cinnamon flavors of carrot cake and the sweetness of the cream cheese frosting.

As with any cheesecake, Starbucks’ Carrot Cheesecake pairs well with coffee. You can try it with a drink that’s not as sugary, like the new Yuzu Cold Brew. It’s strong, zesty, and refreshing, and it will serve as a palate cleanser in between bites.Â
Where you can get it
Starbucks’ new Carrot Cheesecake is available in Starbucks branches for P180 per slice. This is a seasonal item, so you better get it while it’s still available on the menu.
