With traveling on hold because of the pandemic, we sure have major FOMO for all the new items being launched all over the world. There's Ferrero Rocher ice cream in the United Kingdom, Friends-inspired ice cream in New York City, and Cherry Blossom-flavored Oreos with Matcha filling in Japan. Adding to this growing list of things we're dying to try is Starbucks Japan's seasonal Coffee Tiramisu Frappuccino.
According to SoraNews24, the Tiramisu Frappuccino was launched back in 2013 and has been upgraded to a version that's closer to the Italian dessert since 2019. This year, Starbucks Japan is bringing it back to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The improved Coffee Tiramisu Frappuccino is made with a coffee-soaked sponge cake that's added to a drink with coffee syrup, mascarpone, and an egg custard base. It's then topped with a mountain of whipped cream and dusted with cocoa powder.
According to Starbucks Japan's press release, the Coffee Tiramisu Frappuccino will be available starting April 14, priced at ¥ 669 for a tall cup. This will be launched together with other drinks like the Cold Brew Coffee Frappuccino, Double-Tall Latte, and Double Tall Latte Shakerato.
