Starbucks' New Dessert Is A S’mores Cake!
We want some more of this s'mores cake!
S’mores are a go-to campfire snack that you can easily make by sandwiching marshmallow and chocolate between two pieces of graham cracker. It’s typically toasted (usually on the campfire site), so the marshmallow and chocolate will become gooey in between the crunchy graham crackers. Over time, s’mores have taken the form of brownies, cookies, and now: cake!
One of Starbucks’ new summer dessert is the S’mores cake (P165/slice and P1,395/whole). This dessert is made with layers of sweet chocolate chip cake, truffle filling on graham crust, and finished with fluffy toasted marshmallow icing. This sweet cake will pair perfectly with a slightly bitter cup of coffee!
Also new to the Starbucks desserts menu are the Apple Butterscotch Cheesecake (P175/slice and P1,695/whole), which is made with the classic smooth New York Cheesecake on a butter cookie crust and topped with apple butterscotch cubes. If you want a grab-and-go snack, they also have the Banana Chocolate Chia Cookie (P75) that are made with oats, bananas, dark Belgian chocolate, and chia seeds.
Starbucks’ S’mores Cake, Apple Butterscotch Cheesecake, and Banana Chocolate Chia Cookie are available until June 3, 2019.
