This Is A Low-Carb Version Of The Sushi Bake

If you're trying to cut on carbs, this is the way to go.

It seems that everyone is trying out Sushi Bake, the latest quarantine food trend. This popular deconstructed sushi is made by layering Japanese rice, baked and shredded fish, Japanese mayo, and tobiko eggs (fish roe) in a pan or casserole. It is then baked and eaten by scooping a spoonful of the baked sushi into a nori sheet.

If you find yourself eating more sushi bake in the past few weeks and want to cut on carbs, Isabel's Cauli Maki is a must-try. Instead of Japanese sushi rice, cauli rice or cauliflower rice is used. This adds texture to every bite, plus you get your dose of veggies. The best part? This version doesn't go overboard with the Japanese mayo.
