Whenever there's a long weekend coming up, a trip to Tagaytay is almost always a given. But, with how unpredictable traffic down south can get, we almost never know exactly what time we'll arrive-you're often likely to end up getting to the city in the wee hours of the morning. This is why it's best to be prepared with a list of restaurants in Tagaytay that are open round-the-clock is a must. We've prepared a list of restaurants open 24 hours in the city, from all-day breakfast places to cafes and bulalohans.

Bayani Tapsi

The quintessential Tagaytay breakfast is tapsilog, and you can get that and more any time of the day at Bayani Tapsi. You can go for Tapa Ni Rizal (P95), or tapa cooked sweet, asado-style, or their signature, tender and garlicky Bayani Beef Tapa (P95). Aside from tapsilog, Bayani Tapsi also offers other kinds of silog like Pork Tocino (P85) and Fried Chicken Silog (P90).

Zilog Cafe

This 24-hour eatery offers a varied menu that ranges from silogs and classic Filipino ulam to burgers, sandwiches, and pasta. If you're looking for a classic silog breakfast, Zilog has all kinds, from the usuals like tapsilog and tocilog to more unique ones like Spanish Sarsilog (P65) and Hot 'n Spicy Tunasilog (P60). You can also warm up with Arroz Caldo (P55, P65/with egg) or their special Sinigang Beef Bulalo (P375/good for sharing).

If you're up for a different kind of bulalo experience on your next Tagaytay trip, drop by Bulalo Capital. They offer riffs on the classic bulalo like Sinampalukang Bulalo (P555) with a distinctive tanginess, Kalderetang Bulalo (P580) with bone marrow swimming in a rich tomato sauce, and a rich and creamy Ginataang Bulalo (P520). Mer-Ben Tapsilogan sa Tagaytay

Despite their name, Mer-Ben has actually become a go-to for bulalo at any time of the day (or night). Enjoy a warm and soothing bowl of bulalo with the cool breeze of Tagaytay in one of Mer-Ben's kubo dining areas. The Extra Special Bulalo (P450/medium, P520/large) is served in a bowl good for sharing-plus the soup is refillable. Their other specialties include Crispy Bulalo (P520) or fried beef shank and bone marrow that pairs perfectly with rice and any of their cool refreshers, and, of course, Crispy Fried Tawilis (P180).

Green ATS Bulalohan

Aside from the classic bulalo, Green ATS also offers their own variations on the Tagaytay staple like Sizzling Bulalo (P595) with the beef shank and marrow swimming in a rich, savory gravy. They also have Sinigang na Bulalo (P595) for those who like their bulalo with a sour kick. Aside from bulalo, Green ATS is also known for their grilled T-Bone (P235) steak, which uses Batangas beef and is good for two people.

Al-Dente by the Lake Hotel

This classy yet laid-back restaurant offers a menu of Western-inspired dishes and classic Filipino fare. You won't be able to easily choose which corner to snap a photo of first at this quirky and colorful cafe. If you have a sweet tooth, go for their Dreaming Waffle Tower (P289), a heaping stack of fluffy waffles with butter and syrup. A tasty and filling savory option is their Good Vibes Inna' Wrap or tortilla wraps stuffed with your choice from chicken, beef, tuna or veggies-the wraps also come with a side of potato wedges smothered in cheese sauce.
