The Aristocrat Celebrates 80th Anniversary with an P80-Meal Promo
This Filipino-owned resto has been around since 1936!
The Filipino-owned The Aristocrat Restaurant founded by late Doña Engracia "Aling Asiang" Cruz-Reyes and her husband, Justice Alex A. Reyes is celebrating its 80th year in the food industry. From its humble beginnings as a snack mobile in 1936, the Aristocrat has grown into a restaurant enterprise with branches in Metro Manila. The Aristocrat now has 11 dine-in restaurant branches and 4 bakeshops all over Luzon. In 2006, they opened the Culinary Institute of Aristocrat for those who want to learn more about cooking.
The restaurant was set to be named "Andy's" after the eldest Reyes son. Andy, however, did not relish the idea of attaching his name to the family rolling store. Digging into her deep sense of irony, Aling Asiang named their mobile canteen "The Aristocrat" - a place oriented to Filipino families with small incomes and large appetites.
On its 80th year, The Aristocrat is offering its best-tasting Chicken Barbecue Meal for only P80 (originally priced at P210). The promo is available for dine-in customers only on November 30, Wednesday (8am-8pm at Roxas Boulevard and Jupiter, Street Makat branches; 10am-8pm for all other branches).
