Is any Tagaytay or Baguio trip even complete without at least one of their famous restaurants on your itinerary? If it’s chocolate that you seek, Tsokolateria is your best bet. The café, which has branches in the said cities, serves an array of brunch dishes all infused with chocolate——from stick-to-your-ribs champorado, lechon kawali served with cacao nibs, mugs of thick hot chocolate, and more.
Tsokolateria used to have a branch in Quezon City that’s since closed, but they might just soon be making their Manila comeback, this time at Greenbelt 5 as we’re guessing based on a tarpaulin we spotted in the mall!

It looks like Tsokolateria is opening in Manila:
We spotted a tarpaulin of Tsokolateria on the second floor of Greenbelt 5, near the Dela Rosa Walkway beside Ayala Museum. Take a look:

Our hopes are definitely up—especially considering Tsokolateria’s Chef-Restaurateur Happy Ongpauco-Tiu recently partnered with Visum Ventures (the folks behind restaurants like Salt & Ice, Oh My Greek, and more). In a statement, Visum Ventures shares that they’ll be “joining forces” to open more branches of Tsokolateria as well as fellow Ongpauco-Tiu resto Pamana around the Metro. Expect to see these establishments at Greenbelt 5, SM Aura, Estancia, and Greenhills, which are the locations said to be their initial areas of expansion in the Metro.
